The Osun State PDP leadership caucus has passed a vote of confidence on Governor Ademola Adeleke, unanimously supporting any decision he takes amid growing rumors of defection to another political party. The leaders, who praised the Governor’s leadership and performance, mandated him to continue consultations with stakeholders locally and nationally.

The caucus meeting, attended by representatives of all sections of the party and government, was held at the Banquet hall of the Government House. After detailed discussions and contributions by leaders, the meeting issued a communique resolving to follow Governor Adeleke wherever he goes.

The meeting recognized that the Governor is still consulting on next lines of action. The caucus was attended by several notable figures, including the Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, Deputy Senate Minority leader, Senator Lere Oyewumi, and former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, among others.

In the communique, the PDP state leadership expressed its unwavering support for Governor Adeleke, signaling its direction on the issue at the moment. The meeting was a testament to the party’s unity and solidarity behind the Governor’s leadership.
