A shocking case has gone viral on social media, sparking widespread outrage and condemnation. Ubong Uwak, a man accused of brutally abusing and killing his wife, Glory, has been spotted looking for a new wife on a singles platform, mere weeks after his release from police custody.
According to a narrative shared by a former employer of the deceased, Glory’s death was met with suspicion, and an autopsy revealed evidence of domestic abuse, including a deep crack in her skull and blood clots. Despite the overwhelming evidence, Glory’s family inexplicably withdrew from the case, allowing Ubong to secure his release from prison.
The employer, who had been supporting Glory’s family in seeking justice, expressed shock and disgust at Ubong’s audacity in seeking a new wife, stating, “He hasn’t buried the one that died with autopsy reports pointing to domestic abuse, he wants another.”
The case has raised concerns about the prevalence of domestic abuse and the need for greater support for victims and their families. Many have taken to social media to express their outrage and warn potential victims about Ubong’s history of abuse.
The incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of prioritizing justice and accountability in cases of domestic abuse. As the community demands answers, one question remains: will justice be served, or will Ubong’s quest for a new wife be met with silence?
