Federal Lawmaker Illuminates Akwa Ibom School of Nursing with Solar-Powered Lights

In a commendable effort to enhance infrastructure and promote sustainable development, Hon. Okpolupm Etteh, the Member representing Eket/ONNA/Esit Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, has installed solar-powered street lights at the Akwa Ibom State School of Nursing Science in Eket.

This initiative is part of a series of community development projects spearheaded by the lawmaker to uplift the quality and safe learning environment for students in his constituency.

The newly installed solar-powered street lights are designed to illuminate the school’s premises, creating a safer and more conducive environment for students, staff, and visitors.

The eco-friendly lighting solution not only improves visibility during nighttime but also supports the institution’s operations by reducing reliance on conventional electricity, thereby cutting costs and promoting sustainability.

This project is one of many interventions by Hon. Etteh, the Deputy Chairman House Committee on University Education to address critical needs across his constituency.
