Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Uyo Zonal Directorate, have arrested 14 suspected internet fraudsters at different locations in Akwa Ibom State.

The commission disclosed this in a post issued via its X handle on Wednesday.

The EFCC said the suspects were arrested on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Afaha Offot, Ikot Ntuen, Abak, and Nwaniba areas of the State through an intelligence- driven sting operation.

Information obtained by Uyo Infomedia said, Items recovered from the suspects include, 19 mobile phones and three laptops.

The suspects according to the Commission will be charged to court after investigations.
