Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital will come alive again as the stage is set for the “Night of the OGs” epic musical celebration of Nigeria’s entertainment pioneers.

To be hosted by Uyo Infomedia Limited in collaboration with Talk Loud Entertainment, on Friday September 26, 2025 at Ceedapeg Event Center, Ewet Housing Estate in the metropolis, will be one-of-a-kind event.

Trailblazers of Nigeria’s music and comedy industry would be honoured, on the sideline of 38th anniversary commemoration of state’s creation, and celebrating the achievements of Governor Umo Eno in the past two years.

Night of the OG’s according to the organizers, would be more than just entertainment but “Happy Hour Edition”.

“It is a converge to appreciate the veterans, who had laid the foundation for today’s thriving creative industry”.

Legendary star-studded lineup for the”Happy Hour” edition include; Faze, Duncan Mighty, Sunny NEJI, Daniel Wilson, Or it’s Wilikis, Blackie and Rugged Man.

Other Icons are; African China, Mr Xto, Alibaba, Bovi, Pasto Goddy Goddy, Alfa Kufa; with comedy legends such as; Gandoki, Basurge Tariah and Ibo Koko Mc Sir James etc.

Other highlighlights of the event include; live music concert featuring legendary Nigerian artists lined up for the show; comedy performances by industry veterans, networking sessions and team bonding activities.

Also in the highlight will be; interactive games, food, and drinks creating a vibrant atmosphere for leisure, and cultural displays to showcase Akwa Ibom’s rich heritage.

Commenting ahead of the event, one of the event planners and Creative Director at Uyo Infomedia, Mr. Michael Ekpo said, “Night of the OGs is not just a show, but about recognizing the legends who built the pathway of the Nigeria’s entertainment industry the new generation is threading on today.”
