NDDC Boss Ogbuku Honoured by UK Parliament as Nigeria’s Regional Development Champion

Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, has been honoured by the United Kingdom Parliament as the Nigeria’s Regional Government Development Champion of the Year, 2025.

The prestigious award was conferred during the London Political Summit and Awards (LPSA), held at the UK House of Commons in London, marking a significant milestone in Ogbuku’s public service career.

Dr. Ogbuku was celebrated for his remarkable contributions to regional development, innovation, and good governance in the Niger Delta region.

The international award underscores his leadership role in driving sustainable development and infrastructural progress in one of Nigeria’s most strategic and historically underserved regions.

The LPSA, is renowned for honouring public figures who demonstrate excellence in governance and policy, particularly in developing nations.

The international recognition and award on the eminent Niger Deltan by the UK Parliament, is a moral booster that would energize the NDDC boss, to raise higher pedestal for the Nigeria’s foremost regional development agency.
