The Senator representing Akwa Ibom South (Eket) Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Ekong Sampson, on Sunday, October 26, 2025, played host to the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ward Chairmen from Mkpat Enin Local Government Area at WatBridge Hotel and Suites, Uyo, as part of his ongoing familiarization with party officers across his domain.

In his remarks, Senator Ekong Sampson commended the Ward Chairmen for their steadfastness and loyalty to the ideals and progress of APC.

He lauded their continued support for Governor Umo Eno, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urging them to sustain the spirit of unity and dedication for the growth of the party in the local government and the state at large.

The APC Chapter Chairman, Hon. Utitofon Jeremiah, expressed appreciation to Senator Ekong for his impactful representation at the Senate and his efforts in facilitating empowerment initiatives and developmental projects across the Senatorial District within just two years in office.

He expressed optimism that, with continued party support, the Senator would surpass his current achievements.

Also speaking, the Chairman of Chairmen, Mr. Udeme Isembe, and the Ikpa Ikono Ward 2 Chairman, Mr. Moses Udonwa, thanked the Senator for his hospitality and pledged their unflinching support and loyalty to ensure the continued progress of the APC in Mkpat Enin Local Government Area.
