GOV. Eno Dedicated Twins, Urges Christians To Be Faithful To God

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has charged Christians to remain steadfast in faith, patience and hope in God, especially in the face of life’s turbulence and uncertainties.

The Governor gave the charge while speaking at the dedication ceremony of a set of twins, Keini and Keima, born to Pastor Prince George and wife, at the Gospel Foundation Ministry, Etinan.

Eno, described children as priceless gifts from God and commended the couple for their unwavering faith and resilience through the twelve years of childlessness.

He expressed gratitude to God for the blessing, congratulated the family on the arrival of the twins, and offered prayers for God’s continued favour upon them, asking for divine wisdom and grace to raise the children in the ways of the Lord.

Earlier in his sermon titled “Precious Gift,” drawn from Psalm 127:4 and Genesis 49:4, the Founder of Gospel Foundation Ministry, Bishop Enobong Essien, described children as precious seeds entrusted to parents for careful nurturing in godly values, for the benefit of both family and society.

Bishop Essien noted that, children are invaluable vessels of honour, joy, fulfilment, protection and support, which help to strengthen family unity. He advised parents to be vigilant against negative influences that could hinder the growth of their children, while correcting them in love to promote their spiritual and physical development.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Pastor Prince George, who serves as the Resident Pastor of the Uyo branch of the ministry, thanked God for the breakthrough after twelve years of waiting.

  1. He also expressed deep appreciation to Governor Eno for honouring the occasion, describing him as a true brother and compassionate leader whose prayers and encouragement had strengthened his faith and resolve to continue serving God despite challenges.
