In a statement on his X handle formerly (Twitter), issued after a high-level security meeting with Israel’s Defence Minister, the Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces and the head of the Mossad on Monday, Netanyahu said he had given fresh directives for the continuation of the military campaigns in Iran.
“Yesterday, we eliminated the tyrant Khamenei. Along with him, we eliminated dozens of senior figures in the regime of repression,” the Prime Minister stated.

“I promised and we will deliver.”
The announcement, signals a dramatic escalation in the already volatile Middle East (Axis of Evil) conflict, raising fears of wider regional instability and potential global repercussions.
