Director-General Of NAPTIP Orders Probe Of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against MFM General Overseer, Olukoya

The Director-General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Binta Adamu Bello, has ordered an immediate investigation into allegations of sexual abuse, intimidation, and exploitation leveled against Dr. Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM).

NAPTIP’s Chief Press Officer, Vincent Adekoye, confirmed that the agency had received a petition detailing the alleged abuses and assured the public that the matter was being taken seriously. The agency has a zero-tolerance stance on all forms of abuse and exploitation, particularly those involving vulnerable individuals.

The allegations against Dr. Olukoya were brought forth by a group of women under the Concerned Mothers Advocacy Group, who staged a protest at NAPTIP’s headquarters in Abuja. They submitted a detailed petition to the Director-General, calling for immediate action and outlining accusations of sexual assault, blackmail, legal intimidation, and systemic cover-ups allegedly orchestrated by the church’s leadership.

The protesters emphasized that religious leaders must not exploit vulnerable individuals under the guise of faith and urged NAPTIP to act urgently to ensure justice for victims and prevent further abuse. NAPTIP’s Director-General has assured that justice will be served where necessary.
