Fear in Israel: US Allows Greater Recognition of a Palestinian State

By Josia Nakash

At the end of the day everything comes down to the narrow personal interests of the leaders – meaning what’s best for their country.

Today I’m writing about this upcoming “international conference meant to resurrect the idea of a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which will take place from June 17 to 20 at the UN headquarters in New York. Where “France is determined to advance the implementation of the Two-State solution,” according to the Mission permanente de la France auprès des Nations unies (Permanent Mission of France to the United Nations in New York).

Quoting from the ynet article subtitle that implies the US is no longer Israel’s best friend: The Saudi-French conference in New York will last four days, and at its end a problematic declaration for Israel may be published – in which a number of countries will declare recognition of a Palestinian state. In Paris, they claim: “There will be more than 100 countries.” What is behind Washington’s silence, after a series of problematic events in Israeli-US relations.

My Commentary

When it comes to President Trump of course he’s looking to serve the best interests of America before anything else. To return to their superpower status that was lost in recent years, which served the interests of China. Trump is getting his hands on all kinds of financial resources in the Middle East and the world. We’re all very familiar with how this game works.

Remember what I said when Trump first came back to the Oval Office and did tons of great things for Israel? That it could change at any given moment, because everything he does is calculated purely from a business perspective. And since he was just handed $5 Trillion of business among other things, he’s shifted his perspective on the whole Gaza situation.

Israel Has No One To Depend On

All this reinforces my main point, which is very hard for people to agree with. The point is that everything depends on us here inside Israel. We have no one to depend on except ourselves. The people of Israel and the land of Israel, according to our true historical legacy. Not how we look right now.

We have no one to depend on except ourselves.

No one likes to hear that because it implies we need to take responsibility for something we’re not prepared to. To give of ourselves beyond what we’re used to, if at all. We’ll have to act according to our historical legacy – everything to do with unity, and as a nation with a special role in the world. This is the reality whether we like it or not. We can keep trying to ignore the problem but we’ll never manage to escape our fate. The day will come when we’ll need to give the world answers, so it would be better to deal with this sooner rather than later.

We’ll have to act according to our historical legacy – everything to do with unity, and as a nation with a special role in the world.

My Advice for Trump

No one has called me to the White House to advise President Trump on anything to do with Israel. But if I was invited I would say exactly what I always say – going against Israel in any way may currently be a good move from a business perspective, but ultimately will be bad for Trump personally, and bad for the US in the long run.

Who is leading this whole anti-Israel two-state initiative? French President Emmanuel Macron, who was just very publicly shoved in the face by his wife no less. And coming right after the cocaine on the table scandal. It doesn’t matter that it was just a tissue – the damage has been done. France is also “facing economic warnings and ongoing political uncertainty, including a December government collapse” according to The Economic Times

Who was causing a lot of trouble for Israel before the Trump administration came back to power? Yes, President Biden.

President Trump probably wouldn’t listen to me because I’m not a billionaire. But I want my subscribers to know they’re in really good company, and that many successful business leaders are very interested in what I write here in my newsletter –

>> Some of the top CEO’s in the world are subscribed to my newsletter, along with the people all the top CMOs of global corporations consult with, and also the Chief Sustainability Officers of the most iconic brands. The owners of many of the most successful advertising agencies, and so many established futurists.

>> In Israel, two of our most powerful CMOs were among the first subscribers – both very cool guys. One has more power in his little pinky than most CEOs will ever have. In our crazy successful high-tech sector, we have around ten of our most successful upcoming startups over recent years all next to each other in a square mile in the affluent Herzliya Pituach – yes, all those pretty young and super-successful CEOs are subscribers. The top HR leaders from our most successful high-tech brands – probably over 100 of them are subscribers – including those at the very top.

>> VCs abroad and the really big ones in Israel have been subscribed for years. Which makes perfect sense. After all, who needs to understand global trends more than them?

>> Another group of VIP leaders are those interested in the safety/education of the next generation. My favorite CEO in the world out there in Utah, and his top people are also subscribers.

>> Leaders of the most powerful Jewish organizations that genuinely want to strengthen Israel and stop antisemitism.

Why do all these extremely busy people take the time to read what I write here? Because everyone’s trying to figure out how all this drama will play out, and no one really knows.

Yes I write about Israel a lot, but the whole point of my newsletter is to help companies position themselves in a way way that will keep them thriving for the next 100 years no matter what.
