Netanyahu Warns Hamas To Disarm or Face Devastation

Again, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu in a stark warning broadcast on American television (CBS) on Wednesday, has declared that Hamas must disarm completely or face swift and severe consequences.

He said, “We agreed to give peace a chance, but President Trump’s conditions were clear: Hamas must disarm. It must relinquish its weapons in Gaza or all hell will break loose.”

Netanyahu was unequivocal in his message, stating that disarmament will happen “quickly and perhaps violently.”

He emphasized that the release of all remaining living hostages is a top priority, and “hopes” the next phase of the Trump administration’s Gaza peace plan will be implemented soon.

According to him, “After Hamas gives up its weapons, we need to ensure there are no weapons factories inside Gaza,” Netanyahu added. “There will be no smuggling. This is disarmament.”

The Prime Minister also tied the ongoing efforts in Gaza to a broader regional vision, highlighting the Abraham Accords as a critical path toward stability.

“We have an opportunity to broaden that peace,” he said. “That would be the greatest gift we can bring the people of Israel, the people of the region, and the people of the world.”

Responding to reports that President Donald Trump had called him “tough to work with,” Netanyahu stood firm.

“I am very tough on matters concerning Israel’s future,” he said. “It is my responsibility and it is the reason I have done the things I have done.

“It is the reason we struck in Iran to ensure the Jewish state will not be in danger. Iran threatened to annihilate us, it threatened to drop nuclear bombs on us.”

As regional tensions rise and diplomatic pressure mounts, Netanyahu’s message leaves little room for compromise: Hamas must lay down its arms or face the consequences.
