ESSIEN UDIM – Amidst the shenanigans surrounding the House of Assembly seat in Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the same State Constituency in the forthcoming election, Mrs. Inemesit Nkereuwem, has unveiled a comprehensive development agenda anchored on transparent leadership, youth empowerment, quality healthcare, and community development.
Presenting her vision to the people of Essien Udim recently, the House of Assembly hopeful reaffirmed her commitment to people-centred representation, stressing that effective leadership must be driven by the needs and aspirations of the people.
According to her, “my mission is to provide transparent and accountable representation that will improve lives, create opportunities, and ensure sustainable development across the constituency’.
Mrs. Nkereuwem emphasized that, the voices of the people would remain at the centre of her legislative activities, promising inclusive representation and active engagement with constituents on issues affecting their welfare.
She identified community development as a major priority, noting that investments in infrastructure, social services, and economic opportunities would help strengthen communities and improve the quality of life for residents.
The candidate also pledged to champion youth empowerment through support for education, skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, and other programmes aimed at preparing young people for productive futures.
On healthcare, she promised to advocate policies that would improve access to quality and affordable medical services, while promoting initiatives that enhance the well-being of families and vulnerable groups.
Mrs. Nkereuwem further assured constituents of responsible and transparent leadership, founded on accountability, integrity, and responsiveness to public concerns.
Outlining her campaign promises, she said she would work tirelessly to be a trusted voice for the people, listen to their concerns, represent their interests effectively, and ensure that the dividends of democracy reach every part of Essien Udim.
She called on voters to support her candidacy, expressing confidence that collective efforts would help build a stronger and more prosperous Essien Udim.
“Together, we can build a stronger Essien Udim. Your trust, our responsibility,” she stated.
Political observers say the candidate’s development-focused agenda is expected to resonate with voters seeking effective representation and grassroots-oriented leadership in the constituency.
