The Akwa Ibom State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced the appointment of Mrs. Felicia Kalu as its new Sector Commander.

Mrs. Kalu takes over from Mr. Francis Ajatta, who has been redeployed to the Rivers State Command as part of ongoing administrative restructuring within the Corps.

A seasoned administrator and communication expert, Kalu brings a wealth of experience to her new role.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics from Abia State University, Uturu, and a Master’s degree in Communication Science from the University of Bucharest, Romania.

Over the years, she has served in several strategic capacities within the FRSC, including Acting Corps Secretary and Corps Librarian at the national headquarters.

Prior to her deployment to Akwa Ibom, she was the Acting Corps Public Education Officer at the FRSC Headquarters in Abuja, where she played a key role in public enlightenment and safety advocacy.

Her appointment is expected to further strengthen road safety administration and public awareness initiatives in Akwa Ibom State.
