MIDDLE EAST – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reaffirmed his government’s determination to maintain military deployments in Gaza, Lebanon and parts of Syria.

He declared that Israel will not bow to international pressure to withdraw its troops from strategic locations vital to the country’s security.

Speaking before his departure to the United States on an official visit, Netanyahu addressed Israelis and stressed that, the protection of the nation and its citizens would remain the overriding priority of his administration.
