The Akwa Ibom State Branch of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers is set to host its 2026 Mandatory Continuing Professional Development Seminar, following approval from the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria, ESVARBON.
The seminar scheduled for today will take place the Ibom LED Centre, IBB Avenue, Uyo, from 10:00 a.m. with the theme, “Estate Surveying and Valuation Practice in the Era of Tax Reforms and Fiscal Transparency in Nigeria.”
According to a release by the Branch Chairman, ESV Kufre Ufot and ESV Udemeobong Udo, the event will be attended by the 27th President and Chairman of Council, Mallam Bature Ali Muhammad, as Chief Host.
The Executive Chairman of the Akwa Ibom State Internal Revenue Service, Sir Okon Okon and ESV Professor Olurotimi Kemiki, Professor of Estate Management at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State, are expected to serve as guest speakers.
The organisers said the seminar is open to Fellows, members, probationers, students, non-members and the general public, adding that it will provide an opportunity to examine the changing regulatory, taxation and fiscal environment and its implications for estate surveying and valuation practice in Nigeria.
