Senate President Godswill Akpabio has called on members and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom State to collaborate with defectors from the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) to foster unity and attract federal interventions. Akpabio made this appeal during a meeting with APC stakeholders from the three senatorial districts in the state.
Akpabio assured APC members that the proposed political alignment would bring significant federal interventions, improving the welfare and development of the people. He emphasized that the APC is big enough to accommodate everyone, making internal squabbles and wrangling unnecessary. Akpabio urged party members, both old and new, to remain united and peaceful in the overall interest of Akwa Ibom State.
