APC Akwa Ibom State Congratulates Governor Umo Eno on Successful Stakeholders Meeting

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom State has congratulated Governor Pastor Umo Bassey Eno on the success of a stakeholders meeting held on July 15, 2025. The meeting, which brought together critical party members from the three senatorial districts of Uyo, Ikot Ekpene, and Eket, was a testament to the governor’s people-centric leadership style.

The APC state chairman, Obong Stephen Leo Ntukekpo, led the party in commending the governor for his initiative, which has further cemented his reputation as a leader who prioritizes the welfare of his people. The meeting was part of the governor’s ongoing outreach efforts since joining the APC, a party he believes is best suited to drive the state’s political and economic development.

Party members from the different senatorial districts praised the governor’s love for the state, which has brought peace and unity, essential ingredients for progress. In his remarks, Governor Eno emphasized the importance of love, forgiveness, and unity in achieving progress for the benefit of all citizens, drawing inspiration from the Holy Bible.

The governor reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people and the party, and a communique was issued adopting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Obot Akpabio, and Governor Umo Eno as the party’s sole candidates for their respective positions in 2027. The communique was adopted after observing a minute silence to honor the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.

The APC Akwa Ibom State chapter congratulated Governor Eno on his achievements and bold steps taken to unite the people, and looks forward to working with him to achieve greater success for the state.
