The All Progressives Congress has published the full membership list of its 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu named Chairman and a 223 person structure covering new directorates for finance, extractive industries, education, MSMEs, digital operations and faith-based mobilisation.
The list was released by the Presidency on Saturday and builds on an earlier announcement that named only the principal officers of the council.
According to the document, Vice President Kashim Shettima will serve as Vice Chairman I, while APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, is Vice Chairman II. Former Zamfara Governor, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, was named Director-General. Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, is Secretary, with Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru as Deputy Secretary and Hadiza Bala Usman as Assistant Secretary.
The party also appointed six Deputy Directors-General to cover the geo-political zones and key functions. They include Senate President Godswill Akpabio for South I, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele for South II, Yobe Governor Mai Mala Buni for North I, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas for North II, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin for North III, and former APC National Chairman Adams Oshiomhole for Mobilisation. The expanded council creates directorates that were not in previous campaign structures. These include Finance and Fundraising, Extractive Industry Sector Mobilisation, Education Sector Mobilisation, Manufacturing and MSMEs, Support Group Coordination, Faith-Based Mobilisation, Labour Union Relations, Digital Operations, Grassroots Engagement and Welfare.

Former Kano Governor Abdullahi Ganduje as Director. Former Lagos Governor Babatunde Fashola is Zonal Coordinator for the South-West.
EXTRACTIVE INDUSTRY
Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas) Ekperikpe Ekpo and Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil) Heineken Lokpobiri as Deputy Directors. Presidential aide Olu Verheijen is listed as a Secretary in the directorate.
EDUCATION
Minister of Education Tunji Alausa as Director, with Minister of State for Education Suwaiba Ahmad as Deputy.
SUPPORT GROUP COORDINATION
Former Kaduna Senator Shehu Sani and SDP’s Muri Ajaka as Deputy Directors.
FAITH-BASED MOBILISATION
Rt. Rev. Stephen Adegbite to lead the Christian arm, and Sheikh Haliru Maraya to lead the Muslim arm, each with deputies and secretaries.
LABOUR UNION RELATIONS
Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development Yerima Shettima as Deputy Director, working with veteran labour leader Issa Aremu.
MEDIA AND STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATING DIRECTORS include Information Minister Mohammed Idris, Dele Alake, Bayo Onanuga and Lanre Issa-Onilu. Spokespersons listed include Alake, Alwan Hassan, Ayobami Oyalowo and Kemi Asekun-Shittu.
YOUTH AND WOMEN
Ayodele Olawande is Director of Youth Mobilisation. Betta Edu is Director of Women Mobilisation.
SECURITY AND INTELLIGENCE
Director is Gen. Sarki Yaki, with Minister of State for Defence Bello Matawalle and Interior Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo among deputies.
DATA AND DIGITAL
Dr. Bisoye Coker is Director of Data Management. Khalil Halilu heads the Digital Operations Centre, otherwise called the Situation Room.
Zonal Campaign Coordinators named are Bassey Otu for South-South, Ndubuisi Mbah for South-East, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for South-West, Umar Bago for North-Central, Modu Sheriff for North-East, and Uba Sani for North-West.
The council also outlined a template for states. It provides for a State Campaign Coordinator, the state APC executive, all serving ministers from the state, National Assembly and state assembly candidates, elected APC local government chairmen, and coordinators for support groups, youth, women, PWDs and other directorates.
A separate section lists of advisers to the Chairman was also drafted, this includes, former APC National Chairman Abdullahi Adamu, former Osun Governor Bisi Akande and former Imo Governor Rochas Okorocha. The parliamentary mobilisation team includes former Senate Presidents Ken Nnamani and Anyim Pius Anyim, and former Speakers Aminu Masari, Patricia Etteh and Yakubu Dogara.
The APC said the council’s mandate will be to drive mobilisation, policy communication, election planning and voter outreach ahead of the 2027 general elections.
It was gathered that Senator Yari has already accepted his appointment as DG.
The full 223 name list has been circulated to state chapters for immediate constituency engagements.
