Dangote Refinery Slashes Petrol, Diesel Prices

Amidst the growing energy crisis in the country triggered by US-Israeli and Iranian conflict, Dangote Refinery has slashed its pricing template yesterday March 10, 2026 in response to the lamentation of nationals affected by the sharp rise in price of petroleum products.

The latest is that the price of petrol at the gantry has been reduced by ₦100, bringing it down to ₦1,075 per litre from the earlier price of ₦1,175 per litre.

The refinery has further stated that the price of PMS for coastal supply will now be set at ₦1,050 per litre, which accounts for a minor adjustment due to maritime distribution expenses, while the cost of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) has been reduced to ₦1,430 per litre at the gantry.

This marks a reduction of ₦190 from the previous price of ₦1,620 per litre adding that, the prices at the gantry do not include fees from the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA).
