LAGOS – Popular Nigerian television host and media personality, Frank Edoho, has revealed that his greatest fear in life is dying from heartbreak caused by a woman.
This statement has stirred reactions amid renewed public allegations involving his estranged wife, Katherine Obiang.
Edoho, widely known for hosting the television game show “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?”, made the emotional disclosure during a media conversation recently, where he reflected on relationships, betrayal and emotional trauma.
According to him, emotional pain inflicted by a partner could have devastating consequences, stressing that heartbreak remains one of the deepest fears he harbours.
“I fear dying from heartbreak,” Edoho reportedly said, adding that emotional wounds from failed relationships can be more painful than physical suffering.
His comments come at a time when public attention has again focused on his troubled marital history, following fresh allegations and accusations circulating online from his estranged wife.
Though, the veteran broadcaster did not directly address the claims in detail, observers believe his remarks may not be unconnected to the lingering controversies surrounding his personal life and past marriage.
Frank Edoho was previously married to broadcaster Katherine Obiang before the union ended in divorce. He later remarried, but reports of cracks within the relationship have repeatedly surfaced in the media over the years.
The latest development has triggered widespread debate on social media, with many Nigerians expressing sympathy for the TV personality, while others argued that public figures often face intense scrutiny over private family matters.
Relationship experts say emotional stress arising from broken marriages, public humiliation and prolonged disputes can significantly affect mental and physical wellbeing if not properly managed.
Despite the controversy, Edoho has remained one of Nigeria’s most recognisable television personalities, admired for his charisma, eloquence and enduring presence in the entertainment industry.
