UYO – Ibom Air has announced the commencement of full flight operations from the newly constructed ultra – modern terminal at the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, effective from tomorrow Sunday June 14, 2026.

The airline said the relocation marks a significant shift in its commitment to enhancing passenger experience and improving operational efficiency across its network.

In a statement issued by the Group Manager, Marketing and Communications of the Airline, Ms Aniekan Essienette, all Ibom Air departures and arrivals will henceforth be processed through the new terminal.

She said, the state-of-the-art facility is equipped with modern amenities designed to provide passengers with greater comfort, convenience and a seamless travel experience from check-in through boarding and arrival.

Essienette urged passengers to take note of the operational change and ensure they report to the new terminal for all Ibom Air flights from the effective date.

She described the transition as another milestone in the airline’s drive to deliver world-class aviation services and align with global standards in air travel operations.

The airline further encouraged travellers to stay updated through its official communication platforms and social media channels for travel advisories and additional information regarding the transition.

Essienette maintained that, the commencement of operations at the new terminal is expected to boost passenger handling capacity and strengthen the overall travel experience at Victor Attah International Airport to and from Akwa Ibom State.
