A High Court sitting in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, has ordered the forfeiture of multiple properties belonging to Mr. Ndianabasi Idongesit Udom due to his failure to repay a ₦52 million debt owed to Chief Iniobong Emmanuel Idem since 2022. The court ruled that the properties be handed over to the High Court of Akwa Ibom State, Eket Judicial Division.
The properties forfeited include a Prado Jeep with registration number OIA-371AK and a Toyota Camry with registration number OIA-372AK, which will be auctioned within the next five working days. If the proceeds from the auction do not cover the owed amount, the court may proceed to seize Udom’s house, which was used as collateral for the loan.
In a post made on social media Chief idem stated thus:
I’ve been able to stay alive since the 23rd of November 2022 till date to tell my story of betrayals , insults and outright threats from the boy I helped or had some transactions with. Most of us might not be as lucky or resilient as I am, still standing strong till now and years to come God’s willing, please always be proactive in all you do rather than being reactive.
As for you this stubborn boy, stop spewing lies that wouldn’t take you anywhere or running from pillars to posts because you’re running out of time guy and the interest keeps piling up by every passing second. I’LL COLLECT YOU THAT MY MONEY TO THE LAST KOBO . IT’S A PROMISE I INTEND TO KEEP SINCE YOU CAN’T RESPECT YOUR ELDERS. You’re going to learn and in a hard way because of your numerous attrocities.

Chief Iniobong Idem stated that Udom only paid the interest on the loan for three months and then abandoned it, despite several pleas to repay the loan. Idem claimed that Udom resorted to insults and intimidation when asked to repay the debt.
In a Facebook comment Nana Udom is refuting the court order, despite videos showing court officials whisking away the cars and he Nana signing court documents.
Evidence presented in court included post-dated cheques and screenshots of debit alerts, which supported Chief Idem’s claim that Udom had defaulted on the loan
The court also ruled that an interest of 10% per annum would be applied to the ₦52 million debt from June 2, 2025, until the debt is paid in full. In a strongly worded statement, Chief Idem vowed to collect his money to the last kobo, citing Udom’s lack of respect for elders and his atrocities.
