Ukpanah Charge With Attempted Homicide, Assault on Pregnant Woman in US

African-American, Odudu Ukpanah is back in the news after being arrested in Carlisle, Pennsylvania for allegedly assaulting a pregnant woman.

According to dailyvoice.com, Carlisle Police authorities said, the incident amounts to attempted homicide and assault.

The Police Department said, officers responded to a residence earlier this week following reports of a violent altercation.

“On arriving the residence, emergency responders found the victim with injuries consistent with an attack. The victim was immediately evacuated to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Investigators allege that, Ukpanah was responsible for the assault which resulted in the attempted-homicide charge alongside other related offenses.

Meanwhile, Ukpanah on confirmation had been arrested and taken into custody shortly after the incident.

Ukpanah is not new to controversy. Uyo Infomedia authoritatively recalls that, in 2014, he was arrested and prosecuted in his home state, Akwa Ibom, South – South Nigeria, after allegedly accused of murdering his father, Albert Ukpanah.

Late Ukpanah, at the time was a prominent political figure in Akwa Ibom before his gruesome murder.

Odudu, was later discharged and acquitted of the charges before relocating to the United States, where he now resides in Carlisle.

Officials said, investigation into the latest incident is ongoing as additional details will be released once the case progresses toward formal Court charges.
