UyoInfomedia Rolls Out ‘Akwa Ibom My Culture Challenge 2026’, Offers ₦100,000 Grand Prize

UYO – Culture enthusiasts, dancers, singers, storytellers and lovers of Akwa Ibom heritage now have a golden opportunity to showcase their talents and win a ₦100,000 cash prize as UyoInfomedia Limited officially launches the Akwa Ibom My Culture Challenge 2026.

The online cultural competition is aimed at celebrating the rich traditions, customs and cultural identity of Akwa Ibom State, while providing a platform for talented individuals to gain visibility.

Registration opens on Wednesday, July 1, and closes on Friday, July 10, 2026.

Participants are required to follow UyoInfomedia on Facebook, record a two-minute video highlighting any aspect of Akwa Ibom culture, including traditional dance, music, storytelling, local cuisine, cultural attire, drumming or any other indigenous display, and submit their entries via WhatsApp to +234 802 240 3510.

According to the organisers, all qualifying videos will be published on the official UyoInfomedia Facebook page, where the winner will be determined by the highest audience engagement through likes, comments and shares.

The organisers encouraged participants to proudly showcase the richness of Akwa Ibom’s cultural heritage, describing the competition as a unique opportunity to project the state’s traditions to a global audience, while competing for the ₦100,000 grand prize.

The deadline for submission of entries is 11:59 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026.
