The Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, Dr. Olugbemisola Titilayomi Odusote, has paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, in Abuja, as part of efforts to strengthen institutional collaboration.

Odusote, who led a delegation of management staff including the Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration, met with the minister on Thursday, April 23, 2025.

During the visit, the Director-General commended the minister for his contributions to the development of the Nigerian Law School. She specifically highlighted the establishment of the Port Harcourt Campus, improvements at the Yenagoa and Abuja campuses, and the ongoing construction of a 600-capacity hostel in Abuja, noting that these interventions have significantly boosted operational efficiency.

She explained that the visit was aimed at reinforcing cooperation between the institution and the FCT administration, while reiterating her commitment to advancing academic excellence, digital transformation, and staff welfare within the Law School system.

In his response, Wike congratulated Odusote on her appointment as the 10th Director-General and the first woman to hold the position. He assured her of continued support for her leadership and vision.

The minister also pledged to construct 10 additional staff quarters at the Abuja Campus and approved a waiver for the issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) for the campus. He noted that the Law School had been operating without the certificate since relocating its headquarters to Abuja.
